Most people are still carrying with them, in their basic underlying beliefs, the unsupportive things that people told them when they were so young that they didn’t have the awareness to question or ignore them. Fortunately, affirmations are so powerful that a few minutes of conscious, deep, positive ones repeated daily for a few weeks can undo years of unconscious, deep, negative ones. - Marc Allen
What if everything you say to yourself, or think, repeatedly, will become true? What if the negativity you allow to take up space in your mind, heart, body and soul rent-free has the power to destroy you?
If either is true, then changing the things you tell yourself, aloud or silently, has the power of transformation behind it.
Are you on a path that will allow you to grow into the most beautiful version of you? -Chris-Anne, The Sacred Creators Oracle
Each reading I do for Sacred Sunday will be based on a card I have pulled from Chris-Anne's Sacred Creators Oracle deck, and the circular picture at the top of the graphic above is from the back of the cards in the deck. Most weeks, I will only pull one card, but for today, I pulled two.
Choose Who You Are Becoming
If you think you are not quite who you need to be in order to create the abundance you want, you are both right and wrong. I believe we are only ever called to be the best versions of ourselves and that we are meant to be exactly who we are.
But we sometimes need to identify, find and reclaim parts of ourselves that we have forgotten or discarded. Doing so empowers us in a way that nothing else will to create the abundance we want most.
This card suggests that you are at a fork in the road, and that it's time to choose which path to take.
"You will be blocked from moving forward until you firmly stake your claim in one choice & take action toward the goal." - Sacred Creators Oracle
Abundance or Not?
Refusing to be fully yourself can block your abundance.
So if you are being called to choose abundance - and I believe that it's our desire that calls us - who will you need to be to manifest it?
Which version of yourself is calling you to pursue it? And what would it mean to step more fully into being that version of who you are?
Your Manifesting Miracle
It's your birthright to learn how to shape your reality. You are on the cusp of a miracle so be sure to set a clear intention." - Sacred Creators Oracle
If this reading resonates with you today, then it probably has your name on it.
Take a few moments to write or think about your answers to those questions. To choose which way you will go. And make a commit to let it be easy.
Enjoy the rest of your day today & I'll see you tomorrow!
Questions for Reflection
When I saw that quote, and the essay that accompanied it, I felt so encouraged!! And I'm excited to share it with you.
Here are a few questions to help you personalize her wisdom...
(1) When you're starting to feel that way, what's usually happening in your life? If you can figure that out, you may be able to get ahead of it to prevent it, or at least be ready to tell yourself the truth, in response.
(2) Do you ever feel disconnected from your highest self? What helps you reconnect?
(3) What would it mean for you to clear the path?
(4) Can you describe your own mental & emotional clutter? Make a list of it. Go.
I'd love o hear your thoughts about today's wisdom.
Love to you, and have a great weekend!
Starting next week, on October 1st, the Ultimate Blog Challenge begins. It's a 30-day challenge (sometimes 31) that helps bloggers create and attract a bigger audience by publishing a blog post every day and sharing it with everyone else who is doing the challenge. It happens several times a year & every time I participate, my traffic grows by leaps & bounds.
In an earlier post, I said I would be participating starting Monday, October 1st.
Well, a family emergency has come up and so, it looks like I won't be able to participate in the Ultimate Blog Challenge after all. I will be taking things slowly, as my family recovers, and I hope to do the January version of the challenge, and be able to blog here & there during the time in between.
Love to you!
Is this you? Some people believe that attracting abundance is something that only the rich and famous get to do. And the rest of us just aren’t privy to their secrets. I have to admit that I have had that thought a time or two, myself.
Another common idea is the belief that you must have money to make money. The concept of attracting abundance, however, flies in the face of that and says that as long as you believe it, you can have it.
As long as you believe it, you can have it.
Does that sound way too simple to work? Does it sound too good to be true? Maybe so.
And yet people who use the principles behind things like the law of attraction, conscious creation and positive thinking will tell you that it really can work for you, because it worked for them.
It seems obvious that a person’s attitude, no matter what happens in his or her life, can make the difference between a happy person and an unhappy one.
We’ve all known people who seem to have the worst luck, who still seem happy. And it seems that no matter what happens to them, they see the bright side and somehow they turn out okay.
And you may know someone who seems to have everything going for him, but is miserable. Sometimes it can be hard to understand how someone could be so unhappy when she has so many good things in her life.
But when that happens, it because of what the person has attracted. If you are surrounded by misery, you're more likely to become miserable. So even though she might be well-off financially, she may attract sadness and despair.
Attracting abundance requires a new state of mind. Like the person with the bad luck who stays positive and happy no matter what happens, you have to find ways to see the positive even in the middle of the negative things that happen in your life. But you also need to come to believe that positive things can and will happen to you.
Even the person we mentioned, who is happy despite his or her horrible luck has good things happen. But that person has trained himself to see the good things even in events that most of us would dismiss as completely negative. This focus on the positive allows positive energy to flow to that person, even in less-than-great situations.
Attracting abundance works in a similar way. A person who believes that, no matter what, she will never have enough money will probably always be plagued by financial problems because that’s what she believes. Her thoughts will attract similar energy.
But for the person who shifts his thinking to decide that he wants abundance, and begins to believe that it’s possible will attract a different kind of energy. If you think abundant thoughts and learn to believe them, then you can attract prosperity.
A principle of the law of abundance is that the universe creates enough for every one. And that one person having enough or more than enough does not mean that another person must go without. There is enough for everyone to have more than he or she will ever need.
Believing this, and believing that your positive thoughts can ensure that you have what you need and more, are the first steps in attracting abundance and letting prosperity flow into your life.
One of the tenets of conscious creation is that we each have a separate reality that other people cannot know or really understand. And that each of us has the ability to create that reality into anything we want it to be.
Every day when we get out of bed, we set into motion the creation of a certain reality, good or bad. And through conscious, also sometimes called deliberate, creation, we can shift that reality in either a better or worse direction.
Also at the heart of this conscious way of living is the belief that we all create our own reality, even though we don’t realize it. So that when something bad happens to you, it becomes your responsibility to change things for the better.
But that also suggests that it is possible to change things for the better.
The first step in creating your own reality begins with your beliefs.
Let’s say that right now you believe that most people are selfish and only out to get what they can for themselves without regards to other people. Your belief is creating that reality in your life, so people in your life will often "prove" this belief.
But, if you shift your belief to one that says that most people are good at heart and want to do the right thing, you may find that the people in your life will begin to fit that description. Or you'll meet different people who do.
If you believe that you will never get out of debt, you probably never will. But if you wake up each day using conscious creation to believe you will get out of debt, you will find that it happens.
What do you believe about attracting the abundance you want, or creating your own reality? Is it possible for you?
See you next time!
"Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors for you
We hear this lovely thought that suggests we're meant to be doing work we love.
That if we follow our hearts, we'll be led to something perfect for us, that will hard work feel like delightful play. And once we have found it, and are committed to it, the money we need will follow.
But is that a truth we can trust? Are we meant to follow our hearts? And if we don't see the money yet, should we stay in it to win it?
It's important to answer those questions for yourself, so give it some thought.
Here's what I think: we are absolutely called to work we will love, and there is an abundant life waiting for you that will give you all the money you need. But practically speaking, unless you have great connections, a large advertising budget and guidance from marketing experts, there's not a direct correspondence between doing what you love & getting well paid for it.
The direct connections?
Unlimited business-building budget & access to marketing excellence leads to making money in your business.
Committed abundance practice leads to abundance as you've defined it, which will include wealth & prosperity is that is what you summon.
How does that compare to do what you love and the money will follow? I think it sounds right, but it has a lot of wisdom missing between the do what you love and money will follow parts.
What do you think?
See you next time!
It started with an email.
I saw the headline that said there was going to be a 5-day Facebook Live challenge. Not only did that seem like a great way to post 5 times in 5 days in my mompreneur Facebook group, but I also thought it would help me become even more used to doing them.
Would the information I shared helped those who saw my page and draw them into conversation? I hoped so!
So I dove in and found that creating a series and doing several Facebook Lives in a row was easier than I thought it would be. But here's what surprised me. I realized how much I prefer talking about things like abundance and mindset and story, than the nitty gritty of what to post on Twitter or how to create a blog.
I want to talk about the internal more than the external. So, I have decided to curate the best of the best information about building a business, and spend my time and energy sharing my expertise in another way.
What do you prefer in your own business?
Here are more thoughts on the series...
In yesterday's post, we did a brief abundance ritual so that you could set intentions for your business. After several days of planning and identifying the heart of business, you now can set intentions for the business you want to have. But do you ever feel like something holds you back?
Negativity, from or within yourself or others, can do that. I include issues or experiences from the past here, because they can say no, when you're trying to say yes. So how can you make sure that nothing holds you back?
Let's talk about more about that today. Watch this video...
This Success Series is designed to help mompreneurs create a strong, solid foundation as they begin their business, or prepare to shift to uplevel it. We've talked about identifying your superpower, guiding your audience through the hero's journey process and identifying your ideal client or customer and the one problem you will solve.
Today, you'll build on that foundation by setting and anchoring your intentions for your mompreneur biz and learning how to practice abundance.
Yesterday, we talked about the hero's journey and how you can use it in your business. Defining the story your audience experiences as they use your products or services will make it much easier for them to see why they should choose you.
Today, we take a closer look at who your hero (ideal client or customer) is and which problem you will solve for her.
Here are a couple of questions to keep in mind as you identify your target market and choose a niche...
(1) What is the most important thing you need to know about your ideal client or customer in order to help her solve the problem?
(2) How can you narrow down your focus so that you stand out more & make it easier for your audience to hear you calling their name?

See you tomorrow!
In yesterday's post, we focused our attention on how to find your unique superpower combination in your business. Today, we look at story marketing, and specifically, which story or stories your business should tell.
This hero's journey video is the second in a five day series of videos - the success series - about the journey you take with your business from creating its foundation to taking it on the road fully formed.
See you tomorrow, beloveds!
I'm participating in a 5-day Facebook Live challenge this week and I thought I'd share my videos here with you. I decided to use this challenge to create a success series - from foundation to profit, how to set yourself up for success.
Here's the first video (for day one of the challenge). I've created a download and some journal pages you can access by scrolling down to click on the button at the bottom of the pages. Each day, I'll post a new video, and I'd love to see you here.
The Success Series
See you tomorrow!
When you first choose a networking marketing company, what often happens is that sponsors & uplines encourage you to create a list of 100 people you know who might be interested in joining you or hosting a get-together so you can sell products to their friends. If, like me, the idea makes you cringe, and you feel resolved to leave your loved ones & acquaintances alone, I salute you!
But then, what do you do? Perhaps - also, like me - you've decided to try your business online.
The only problem is that the Internet can be a great big, seemingly cavernous space. How can you stand out in a crowd that size? How can you find your people and get them to connect with you long enough to decide that what you're offering is what they want?
"The more valuable you become to others, the more they will seek you out."
So nice to have you here! I'm an author, intuitive healer, spiritual coach & blogger. I'm also a proud homeschooling mom.
