Are you using video marketing to build your business?
I avoided it for a long time because I didn't want to be on camera, myself, and I didn't know how to create videos that wouldn't have me in it. Eventually, I became more dedicated to my business than I was to my fears, and I became willing to learn to create both kinds of videos,
Did you know that if you embed videos into your landing pages, you could increase your conversion rates by 90%? Adding videos to your email sequence, and including the word "video" in the headline will increase open rates, too.
So it's worth overcoming any reluctance you may have to begin using video marketing. And although my on-camera videos still aren't perfect, and I still sometimes feel a little nervous, I actually often have fun making them! You might surprise yourself with how much you enjoy sharing from the heart, or giving valuable information, yourself.
"Video marketing is the ultimate form of attraction marketing. It's the closest thing to being face to face with your prospect as you can get. People want to know who they're about to jump into a business with, who they are about to buy from, and who they are choosing to lead them toward their goals. NOTHING lets your prospects do exactly that while looking directly into your eyes." - MLSP
You've probably already heard the saying that people do business with those they know, like and trust. So that means that if you are doing business online, you have to figure out how to help them know who you are so that they will trust you.
Video can be a powerful part of that process because they get to see you and hear you, and as they experience you on video, they start to get a feel for who you are. And if you are willing to be seen by them, and open to letting them know who you are, your audience will begin to feel connected to you.
And that will make it much easier to trust you enough to work with you or purchase what you are offering.
But now that you are deciding video marketing might be a good idea, what's the best way to do it? How can you make sure that you create the kind of videos that people will watch all the way through, love and be grateful for, and be excited to watch any others you've created because they are so helpful? But most important of all is how to conquer your fear.
Let's answer those questions today, starting with how you can get past your fear powerfully enough to not let it stop you. Your number one goal right now is to get your message out there so people can find you, hear it, and know what value you have to offer.
So we need to make sure you become willing to use video to do that because of how powerful video is in the marketplace right now. So if you thought this post was not for you, because of your fear, let me tell you that I've got you.
I'm not going to leave you behind while I talk to people who love being on stage. I have been there, and I let my own fear hold me back for years. I care about helping you to avoid waiting like I did.
So let's get right to it...
How to Conquer the Fear of Being on Video
What are your fears about being on camera? Let me know in a comment.
Most are similar to mine, from what I've read - not liking the way you look, or sound, worries about making mistakes, or even about what to say in the first place. It's so normal to have those fears, especially if you're introvert, but even if you're not. I want you to know I completely understand - you know I do from everything I said in the video.
Nonetheless, I think if you're really committed to your own success, in your network marketing business, this is a hurdle you're going to need to jump. But I do want you to know all the ins and outs of creating videos people will want to watch, so let's leave fear behind and talk about creating your own video content strategy.
