Yoga can calm your mind and start your day in a positive light Yoga is an ancient practice that has been cherished for thousands of years. One of its primary benefits is its ability to center and focus the mind, thereby reducing a great deal of stress. If you feel rushed or anxious in the morning, a few yoga postures could help tremendously. - Hillary Lebow

Day Three: The Warrior II Pose

As you embrace this pose, "you may be given confidence to face your fears, courage to move forward, compassion to embrace another, and wisdom to surrender to the one who holds the reins." - Shiva Rea
The Warrior II pose is about letting go of tension and finding the peace in every moment. It's about seeing through the illusions so that you can get to the truth. And about wisdom and courage.

Meditation Moment: Imagine being filled each day with the courage to face your fears, and to easily handle any stress that comes your way. See yourself using wisdom to divine the truth in any moment. What does that feel like from the inside?

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Go to morning yoga to get all of the poses, meditation
moments, affirmations & journal questions for the challenge.

See you tomorrow!

Love, Jeanine

Now day 3 is me! I'm a warrior and can handle this pose! I'm hoping when your poses are completed, you can maybe write another blog with just the photos of each so I can have them all in one place. That would be perfect for Wordless Wednesday post!

That's great, Martha!! I like this pose, too! I am offering a free download with all of the poses together in one place, plus a journal for the challenge. There probably won't be an all-in-one post, but the free download will still be available even after the challenge is over.

That's great, Bing!! I love your phrasing. It is just like that, that we "forget" or lose connection to, a motivation or determination or willingness to continue.

Yes, I have done the Warrrior II position as well. It feels very good and it centers me for the day. It is a beautiful pose, and the body is open and stretched to show its full potential.

Oh, and take a look at my blog. I have a little surprise in there for you. https://alicesgrandadventures.blogspot.com/2019/07/what-would-you-like-to-read-next.html

Yes, now that you mention it, it did feel grounding. And after doing it, I felt not just grounded and centered, but grounded in strength. Thanks, Alice!! I love your blog and am on my way there, next!

This reminds me (and will continue to remind me through the challenge) that I need to get back to doing yoga (been honestly too long)
